Nick Burke | Pastor
Nick Burke began serving as pastor of Brooker Baptist Church in May of 2026. He has served in ministry for more than 27 years, including roles in children’s ministry, youth ministry, worship ministry, and church administration. He has a heart for preaching and teaching God’s Word, shepherding people with compassion, and helping families grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.
Pastor Nick has served in churches across the country, but is grateful to be “back home” in North Central Florida, where he grew up. A 2000 graduate of Union County High School in Lake Butler, Nick later attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he met his wife, Alicia. They have been married since 2007 and have two daughters, Madison and Ella.
In his free time, Nick enjoys traveling, cooking, painting, and spending time with his family.
Alicia Burke | Church Secretary & Clerk
Alicia Burke serves as the church secretary at Brooker Baptist Church, helping support the day-to-day ministry of the church and serving faithfully in countless ways behind the scenes. She also helps lead worship and provides leadership for our Children’s Ministry. As Pastor Nick’s wife, Alicia serves alongside him in ministry, but she has a ministry and impact all her own. Her warmth, servant’s heart, and genuine love for people have made her a much-loved part of the Brooker Baptist family.
Alicia has spent many years in education, serving as both a classroom teacher and elementary school principal. She currently teaches sixth grade at Brooker Community School and earned her master’s degree from Liberty University.
Alicia wears many hats, and God uses each of them to give her opportunities to invest in children, encourage families, and point others to Jesus. She enjoys singing, traveling, and spending time with her family and dogs. Alicia and Nick have been married since 2007 and have two daughters, Madison and Ella.
Bobbi Cole | Custodian
Bobbi has been a faithful member of Brooker Baptist Church for more than ten years and serves as our church custodian. Though her work is often behind the scenes, her kindness, helpful spirit, and dedication help make our church a welcoming place for everyone who walks through the doors. We are grateful for her faithful service and the many ways she cares for our church facility and family.
