What We Believe
Brooker Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist church committed to the truth of God’s Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The following statements summarize the core beliefs that guide our faith, teaching, and ministry.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God and is our final authority for faith and practice.

GOD
We believe there is one true God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return one day.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowers Christian living, and guides believers in truth.

HUMANITY
We believe every person is created in the image of God but is separated from Him because of sin.

SALVATION
We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

THE CHURCH
We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, and proclaim the Gospel.

HUMANITY
We believe every person is created in the image of God but is separated from Him because of sin.

BAPTISM & THE LORD’S SUPPER
We believe baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are symbolic ordinances given by Christ to the church.

MISSIONS & EVANGELISM
We believe every Christian is called to share the Gospel locally and around the world.

MARRIAGE & FAMILY
We believe God designed marriage as the covenant union of one man and one woman and that the family is foundational to society and the church.

SANCTITY OF LIFE
We believe every human life is sacred and created by God from conception to natural death.

ETERNITY
We believe every person will spend eternity either in heaven with Christ or separated from God in hell.

CHRIST’S RETURN
We believe Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return in power and glory.

COOPERATION
We cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention in missions, church planting, disaster relief, and theological training.
