Serving Safely

We are grateful for every volunteer who gives their time, energy, and gifts to serve the children and students of Brooker Baptist Church. Our volunteers play an important role in creating a welcoming environment where young people can learn about Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their faith.

Because we take that responsibility seriously, all volunteers who work with children or students age 18 and under are required to complete a background screening before serving. This is one part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and trustworthy environment for the children and families God has entrusted to our care.

Background screening is not meant to create unnecessary barriers to serving. Rather, it is a reasonable and important safeguard that helps us protect children, support our volunteers, and demonstrate to parents that their children’s safety is a priority at Brooker Baptist Church.
